We encourage our guests to recycle whilst they stay with us. Please ensure you wash and sort your old packaging to make it easier and more pleasant for us.
We will provide you with FREE fire wood. The fire must be always supervised by a responsible adult. Please no fireworks, Chinese lanterns or similar to be used on site- these lanterns pose a genuine threat to animal welfare, they are also a fire hazard not just to wildlife habitats but also local farm buildings.
You are welcome to explore the farm but please remember that the safety of yourself and your children is your responsibility at all times. Please do not let unaccompanied children enter the river and handle animals.
We do not allow extremely loud amplified music to be played on site. If you would like to listen to radio etc. you are more then welcome. Acoustic music (guitars, accordions etc) played with consideration for your fellow campers, is acceptable. After 10.30 pm is quiet time on site. It doesn’t mean that you need to go to bed but please be aware that other people might be trying to nod off. This is for the benefit of other guests and for our neighbours (sound travels far here, especially at night).
We cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal possessions or vehicles during your stay. Please ensure any valuables remain locked in your car.
Every effort has been made to ensure guests safety on site but we cannot accept responsibility for any accidental injuries. The very nature of camping and being in the great outdoors carries an element of risk. There is a first aid kit on site and contact numbers for local A&E’s, pharmacies and local GP surgery which are in the main office.
In order to make everyone’s stay at WC enjoyable, all guests are requested to be considerate of others.
Inappropriate or anti-social behaviour towards other guests or staff may lead to removal from site without a refund of the rental sum or any part of it.
Guests must vacate their pitch/pre-erected structure on the day of departure by 11am.
The vacated cottage must be left clear of all personal property and refuse.
